Project Description:

Construction of a new Animal Shelter to replace the existing, outdated animal shelter that is in dire need of repairs. This new facility will have updated technology and a larger footprint to provide adequate room for the animals and staff.

Professional Services:

  • Perform document review, design review and value engineering services.

  • Assist with the preparation of the procurement documents

  • Develop a preliminary schedule to provide baseline for contractor schedule.

  • Develop an independent cost estimate of construction to provide baseline for Committee prior to bid openings.

  • Attend Committee meetings and/or Town Board meetings as needed to keep both parties aware of the project status and any potential conflicts.

  • Review bids, score submittals, and provide recommendations for contractor selection
